Job description: Agile Team – Scrum Master / Product Owner

MICLA Engineering & Design is seeking a certified and experienced Agile Team Facilitator to join our software development team. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of Scrum Master and Product Owner, supporting Agile delivery and product excellence in public sector projects.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

Scrum Master Duties

• Facilitate Agile adoption and ensure methodology compliance.
• Organize and moderate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Remove impediments and foster team collaboration.
• Monitor sprint progress and promote continuous improvement.
• Ensure transparency through dashboards, reporting tools, and traceability.

Product Owner Duties

• Collect, analyze, and formalize functional and non-functional requirements.
• Maintain and prioritize the Product Backlog based on business value.
• Define acceptance criteria and validate delivered features.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure functional consistency across platforms.
• Support documentation and requirement traceability.

Mandatory Certifications

• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM I or higher)
• Product Owner Certification (PSPO I, CSPO or equivalent)

Technical Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Agile software projects.
• Proven experience as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, BDD, TDD).
• Experience managing multidisciplinary development teams.
• Familiarity with institutional or public sector environments.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
