We are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Bench Operator for our Deburr dept to join our team and support our growing operations.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bench Operator to join our Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise manual operations such as deburring, polishing, and hand-fitting complex aerospace components. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with aerospace materials, especially high-tolerance machined parts.

Role and Responsibilities

• Perform bench operations such as deburring, filing, sanding, polishing, and hand fitting of landing gear components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Use a variety of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and inspection equipment to meet quality standards.
• Inspect parts for defects or irregularities; document any non-conformances and notify Quality or supervision as needed.
• Work closely with machinists, assemblers, and quality inspectors to support production flow.
• Maintain clean and organized workstations in accordance with 5S and safety guidelines.
• Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize bench operations and reduce processing time.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.

Minimum high school diploma.

Up to 2 years’ experience in a deburring function.

Knowledge of Work Order administration.

Knowledge in deburring and polishing different materials and metals.

Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality.

Ability to interpret drawings for finishing requirements.

Good communications and working relationships skills and abilities.

Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Familiarity with AS9100 and aerospace quality systems.
