Head of IT Services is responsible for driving financial performance, fostering customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence through effective resource management, process standardization, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will combine deep IT service management expertise with a strong background in defense or military contexts.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Accountability: Oversee Profit & Loss (P&L) for service delivery within the C5I segment, ensuring financial targets are met and sustainable growth is achieved.
- Business Development: Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the segment's portfolio.
- Project and Milestone Planning: Define project scopes, objectives, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to project managers and service managers, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
- Resource and Budget Management: Plan and allocate resources effectively, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with organizational processes and regulatory guidelines.
- Process Improvement: Drive the adoption and implementation of standardized service practices to enhance operational efficiency and support continuous improvement of business processes.
- Experience:
- Extensive experience (multiple years) in IT service management, with a proven track record of leading complex IT service delivery projects.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on professional development and performance coaching.
- Technical Expertise: Strong affinity for IT, with deep knowledge of IT service management frameworks and technologies relevant to the C5I domain.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a professional and confident demeanor suitable for client-facing interactions.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is required.
- Proficiency in French is an advantage.
- Leadership Attributes: Strategic thinker with the ability to balance operational execution with long-term business growth. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
