Commercial Hunter – Telecom Asset Recovery
We’re looking for a true commercial hunter. Someone who knows where to find value - and how to unlock it. A proven dealmaker with a track record of identifying dormant or decommissioned telecom equipment, engaging the right decision-makers, and converting those opportunities into revenue.
This is not a role for someone who needs handholding. You’ll be expected to hit the ground running. You should already have a strong network across the telecom industry - ideally spanning both fixed and mobile - and the confidence to navigate procurement, operations, and planning teams to uncover and convert asset recovery opportunities.
You’ll be supported by a world-class team of engineers, project managers, and procurement specialists. But your mission is clear: find the assets, secure the opportunity, and maximise resale value.
This is your chance to join a high-performing global team driving some of the biggest recovery projects in the market. With the right focus, there is no limit to what you can earn - or achieve - in this role.
- Drive global asset recovery and resale revenue across a defined portfolio of telecom operators or regional accounts.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities spanning surplus inventory, warehouse clear-outs, network decommissioning, and lifecycle upgrades.
- Leverage your own network to open doors, source assets, and bring immediate momentum to the business.
- Build trusted relationships with operator stakeholders to uncover hidden value and develop a consistent pipeline of recoverable equipment.
- Own the deal end-to-end – from opportunity discovery through to commercial agreement and resale execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, engineering, logistics) only where required to unlock or support asset access, transport, or resale readiness.
- Maintain commercial discipline – accurately forecast revenue, report pipeline activity, and ensure full CRM hygiene (HubSpot).
- Be visible, fast-moving, and credible in the market – whether on-site with clients, in strategic meetings, or representing the business at global telecom events.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment – you’re comfortable with change and take ownership to drive progress without needing rigid structures or hierarchy.
- Proven sales professional with deep experience in telecom asset recovery, resale, or secondary market equipment sales.
- Natural hunter with an active industry network – you will know who to call, how to uncover opportunities, and how to close them.
- Strong track record of securing high-value asset recovery or resale deals with Tier 1 or Tier 2 operators.
- Self-starting and independent – you don’t wait for leads; you create them.
- Commercially sharp and confident engaging procurement, operational, and executive stakeholders.
- Data-driven and disciplined – comfortable managing pipeline, forecasting, and maintaining CRM hygiene.
- Globally mobile – willing to travel as needed to secure deals and build lasting customer relationships.
Desirable: - Understanding of network equipment and spares management where relevant to unlocking value.
- Familiarity with WEEE regulations or ESG-related asset lifecycle requirements.
- Additional languages or market experience in Europe, LATAM, North America, or Asia-Pacific.
Rewards: - A global platform that moves fast backed by private equity and built for growth
- Access to one of the world’s largest multi-vendor telecom inventories
- Opportunities for professional development and training
- Supportive and collaborative work environment
- High earnings potential with a competitive base + uncapped commission
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Company pension scheme
- Life Insurance
